Fish Facts

Apistogramma agassizii
is regularly seen for sale and is available in several colour varieties; both domestic and wild caught. The picture shows a wild caught male.

Fish Tip

Bubble nesting species such as gouramis need still water in order to build a nest. Cut back on the filtration or remove it altogether.
Float a piece of polystyrene cup to help the male get his nest started.
