Spawning

This video shows Corydoras concolor spawning. The males vie for the attentions of a suitable female who eventually chooses a suitable mate. At times the courtship can be rough.
The eggs are fertilised during the typical corydoras 'T' position and after a suitable pause the female searches for a place to deposit her eggs. She eventually lays them on the front glass.

Feeding

This video shows Corydoras concolor feeding on white worms. There are some eighty fish of all ages from adults to small fry. Also in this tank are some Tanichthys micagemmae and an Ancistrus.

Corydoras concolor
is an attractive member of the catfish family. It grows to a length of about 5cm and is a peaceful fish suitable for most tanks.

Fish Trivia

Paedocypris progenetica is the world's smallest known fish. It lives in forest swamps on the Indonesian island of Sumatra and is only 7.9 millimetres long.
